We’re Hiring | Accounts Payable Accountant
We are hiring for our multinational client operating in the Cosmetics, Fragrances & Perfumes retail industry. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join a dynamic and growing finance team.
Location: Cairo – Egypt

Key Responsibilities – Accounts Payable Accountant
- Process and verify supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and goods receipt notes to ensure payment accuracy.
- Prepare and process vendor payments in accordance with agreed payment terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all expenses are properly coded and recorded in the accounting system.
- Monitor payment schedules to avoid late payments and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including AP reconciliations and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required accounts payable documentation.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance teams to resolve invoice, pricing, and receipt-related issues.
- Prepare accounts payable aging reports and support cash flow planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Previous experience in the Cosmetics, Fragrances, Perfumes, or Retail industry is a must.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment cycles, expense verification, and accounts payable controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Residents of Nasr City or Heliopolis are highly preferred.
