Accountant – Cosmetics Fragrances Industry

Key Responsibilities – Accountant (Cosmetics, Fragrances & Perfumes Retail)

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.
• Monitor inventory transactions and support stock reconciliation within the retail business.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and customer receipts.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and support internal and external audits.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required.
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth operations.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to improve financial controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Previous experience in the Cosmetics, Fragrances, Perfumes, or Retail industry is a must.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Residents of Nasr City or Heliopolis are highly preferred.
