Stock Control Specialist – Fragrances Cosmetics

We’re Hiring | Stock Control Specialist

📍 Location: Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt

Our client, a leading multinational company in the Fragrances & Cosmetics industry, is looking for a detail-oriented Stock Control Specialist to join its Operations team and ensure inventory accuracy across warehouse and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory reconciliations to ensure stock accuracy.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory counts in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes, recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system.
• Prepare inventory reports, stock movement analyses, and variance reports.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Verify inventory documentation and ensure all stock transactions are properly recorded.
• Support month-end and year-end inventory closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with stock control policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with internal and external inventory audits by providing the required documentation and reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and enhance stock control processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Stock Control or Inventory Management.
• Experience within FMCG, Manufacturing, Distribution, Fragrances, or Cosmetics is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good command of English.
