We’re Hiring | Estimation Engineer

📍 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Our client, a leading Engineering Consultancy Company in Riyadh, is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for engineering and construction projects based on project drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Review tender documents, contracts, and technical specifications to identify project scope and estimation requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Develop pricing estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and project overheads.
• Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
• Prepare tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and commercial proposals within project deadlines.
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate project costing.
• Evaluate project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities during the estimation phase.
• Maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing records, and estimation templates.
• Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and contractual requirements.
• Support project handover by providing detailed cost information and budget assumptions to the execution team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in estimation within engineering consultancy or construction projects.
• Strong experience in Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, cost estimation, tendering, and pricing analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of engineering standards, project specifications, and contract documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
