Group Chief Accountant- Fragrances Cosmetics

Key Responsibilities – Group Chief Accountant

• Lead and oversee the accounting operations across multiple entities within the group.
• Prepare and review consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, financial records, and intercompany transactions.
• Manage the group month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and treasury reporting across all entities.
• Supervise intercompany reconciliations and eliminate intercompany balances during the consolidation process.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls across the group.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities during audits and compliance reviews.
• Develop, implement, and monitor group accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure consistency across all business units.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and cash flow planning in collaboration with senior management.
• Analyze group financial performance, identify risks and variances, and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Oversee ERP financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and supporting system enhancements where required.
• Mentor, develop, and lead the accounting teams across the group, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
• Partner with executive management to provide financial insights that support strategic planning, business growth, and investment decisions.
