We are hiring for our multinational client operating in the Cosmetics, Fragrances & Perfumes retail industry. We are looking for an experienced Cost & Planning Manager to lead costing, budgeting, and production planning activities.

Location: Cairo, Egypt.

Key Responsibilities – Cost & Planning Manager (Manufacturing)

• Lead all cost accounting and production planning activities to ensure operational efficiency and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain standard costing models, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and product cost structures.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, material consumption, labor, and overhead variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cost control reports.
• Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to optimize manufacturing costs and improve profitability.
• Lead production planning activities by developing master production schedules aligned with sales forecasts and inventory targets.
• Monitor production capacity, resource utilization, and manufacturing efficiency to ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze inventory levels, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to support effective inventory management.
• Prepare profitability analysis by product, production line, and manufacturing facility to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to manufacturing costs, production efficiency, waste, and inventory performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and streamline planning processes.
• Ensure the integrity of costing and planning data within the ERP system and support system enhancements when required.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Costing and Planning team while fostering cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Industrial Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in Cost Accounting and Planning.
• Manufacturing experience is mandatory.
• Cosmetics, FMCG, or Retail manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Strong ERP and Excel skills.
• Residents of Nasr City or Heliopolis are highly preferred.
