We are hiring for our multinational client operating in the Cosmetics, Fragrances & Perfumes retail industry. We are seeking an experienced Group Chief Accountant to oversee group accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple entities
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the accounting operations across multiple entities within the group.
Prepare and review consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and
company policies.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, financial records, and intercompany transactions.
Manage the group month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and treasury reporting across all entities.
Supervise intercompany reconciliations and eliminate intercompany balances during the consolidation process.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls across the group.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities during audits and compliance reviews.
Develop, implement, and monitor group accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure consistency
Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and cash flow planning in collaboration with senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 12+ years of experience, including leadership experience.
- Previous experience in the Cosmetics, Fragrances, Perfumes, FMCG, or Retail industry is a must.
- Good command of English. Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, consolidations, taxation, and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership and analytical skills. Residents of Nasr City or Heliopolis are highly preferred.
