We are hiring for our multinational client operating in the Cosmetics, Fragrances & Perfumes retail industry. We are looking for a Planning & Budgeting Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and support the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly budgeting, forecasting, and management reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with business units to collect budget inputs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor operating expenses, capital expenditures, and departmental budgets to ensure financial discipline.
- Support the preparation of rolling forecasts and scenario analyses to assess business performance under different assumptions.
- Conduct profitability, cost, and trend analyses to identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
- Develop and monitor financial KPIs and dashboards to measure business performance.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of budgeting and planning data within the ERP system.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities by providing budget and financial analysis support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Previous Retail, FMCG, or Cosmetics experience is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience. Good command of English.
- Residents of Nasr City or Heliopolis are highly preferred.
