We are hiring for our multinational client operating in the Cosmetics, Fragrances & Perfumes retail industry. We are looking for a Planning & Budgeting Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Location: Cairo – Egypt.

Key Responsibilities – Planning & Budgeting Analyst

• Prepare and support the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly budgeting, forecasting, and management reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with business units to collect budget inputs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor operating expenses, capital expenditures, and departmental budgets to ensure financial discipline.
• Support the preparation of rolling forecasts and scenario analyses to assess business performance under different assumptions.
• Conduct profitability, cost, and trend analyses to identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
• Develop and monitor financial KPIs and dashboards to measure business performance.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of budgeting and planning data within the ERP system.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities by providing budget and financial analysis support.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses, reports, and presentations for executive management.
• Identify opportunities to improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes through automation and process enhancements.
• Work closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to improve forecast accuracy and support business planning initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Previous Retail, FMCG, or Cosmetics experience is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience.
• Good command of English.
• Residents of Nasr City or Heliopolis are highly preferred.
