Senior Accountant – FMCG Industry

Location: Abu Rawash, Giza, Egypt

A reputable organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and strong expertise in financial reporting, general ledger, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, taxation, and budgeting. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, along with excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills, is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Verify invoice pricing, quantities, discounts, and tax calculations.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
• Record and allocate customer payments accurately.
• Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and collection status reports.
• Support credit control activities by reviewing customer credit limits and payment history.
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable balances with the General Ledger during month-end closing.
• Prepare journal entries related to receivables and support financial closing activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards.
• Assist internal and external auditors with Accounts Receivable-related requirements.
• Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Experience: 3 to 5 Years in Finance.
• Excellent English language
